From a very young age, Lori was drawn to the beauty and artistry that make a house feel like a home. Inspired by her mother’s creativity, she grew up surrounded by thoughtful design, handcrafted décor, and beautifully curated spaces. Holidays were especially magical in their home, filled with handmade ornaments, themed décor, hand-painted details, and creative projects that sparked Lori’s lifelong love for interior styling and artistic expression.
Art and design quickly became Lori’s passion. At just four years old, her mother placed a watercolor palette in her hands, and that creative spark never faded. She later earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design with a minor in Illustration, and continued her studies in textile design at Parsons School of Design in New York City.
Over the next decade, Lori built an extensive background in textile and surface design, working her way from board artist and textile designer to print stylist for a large textile mill. Her work was featured in major retailers including JCPenney, Sears, and Target, where she developed a strong understanding of color, pattern, composition, and timeless home aesthetics.
As her passion for interiors evolved, Lori expanded into high-end decorative design, creating custom old-world murals, faux finishes, and refined
decorative details for private homes. Over time, her work naturally grew into a deeper focus on interior styling and curated home design, blending warmth, texture, color, and vintage-inspired elegance to create spaces that feel both elevated and welcoming.
In addition to her interior design work, Lori also enjoys creating custom heirloom-quality decorative pieces for the home, including hand-gilded antlers, garlands, floral arrangements, and mantel swags crafted with high-quality faux botanicals. Her seasonal designs reflect her love for timeless, old-world style and thoughtful craftsmanship that can be enjoyed for years to come.
